Where History & Travel Meet: The Making of Kansas: The Center of it All
Posted by Susan Hawksworth on 03/10/2014
Where do history and travel meet? Well, one place is right smack-dab in the middle of the new video, "Kansas: The Center of it All." Join Audrey Kalivoda as she takes you on not one journey, but three. Learn about some of the unique, beautiful and little known Kansas travel destinations – just in time for summer vacation planning. Audrey will explore the history behind some of the destinations featured, as well as share about the process of making the documentary. Born in Kansas, Audrey attended Marymount College before moving to Tennessee. She produces travel/history documentaries as the studio owner of Mesquite 90 Productions. After her presentation, she’ll be on hand to sign copies of her documentary.
This free presentation is offered at the Smoky Hill Museum on Thursday, April 3, 5:30-6:30 pm.
